چکیده
Our societal fascination with fans is nothing new. In response to the emergence of mass print culture, affective engagement “objects devotion” within communities infused cultural products renewed meaning. What a fan, and what types objects are interesting them? And how might fan studies help us think productively in art history? Mia Uribe Koslovsky’s study “Saints Zinesters,” which examines twin devotions fandom religion, offers some insightful interventions by attending practice reinterpretation, knowledge production, nature devotion itself.
